Re: Version 1.3.12

ng3700v2, The eth0.2 WAN ifname is very interesting by default. On a clean Gargoyle install what is the output of the following command? awk 'BEGIN{FS="[ \t]+:[ \t]"} /machine/ {print $2}' /proc/cpuinfo And what is the content of the /etc/config/network file of course on a clean install?

Re: Version 1.3.12

Domino_55: I had a few minutes to play with your wndr3700v2 image. It flashed successfully, and I could play with the gargoyle web interface; but I couldn't get it to acquire an IP address from my cable modem. I even SSH'd into the router and bounced the interfaces (ifconfig xxx down/up). Is there ...

Re: Version 1.3.12

WRT54GL v1.1 running 1.3.11 here. Eric, I have to believe that because OpenWRT and Gargoyle now support Broadcom wireless pretty well, many people who are using dd-wrt or tomato are going to give your firmware releases a serious look. You are offering a modern 2.6 kernel with a simple web interface...

Re: Version 1.3.12

Eric, I just create a patch which fixes a couple of gargoyle patches beacuse of the current backfire revision what gargoyle use. And If you apply the linked patch, gargoyle will copy the wndr3700v2 images too. http://rapidshare.com/files/454593884/fix_patches_cp_wndr3700v2_imgs.patch (patch -p0 < fi...

Re: Version 1.3.12

Hi,

In 1.3.12 the access restrictions doesn't working. It doesn't block the torrent traffic, and it doesn't filter the word "youtube" in URL, etc. but the reboot issues was gone. :)

Re: Version 1.3.12

Eric,

Please bump the Backfire revision to the current, because the OpenWRT developer team backported the WNDR3700v2 support to the Backfire branch. And they are commit some ath9k fixes and WLAN LED support for some TP-Link devices.

Thank you!

Re: WNDR3700v2

It's needed to bump the OpenWRT Backfire revision to the current, and the WNDR3700v2 will be supported by Gargoyle. But I think it's not simple, because the OpenWRT developer team backported the dual stack firewall to the Backfire, and that's why needed some modifications in Gargoyle firewall.
