Re: quota usage values incorrect

Thanks, it was my error. I thought they were both set the same but the problem one reset daily instead of monthly.

quota usage values incorrect

Hi, I setup monthly bandwidth quotas for 2 network ranges (x.x.x.51-60, and 61-70) this month. I initially saw that one of the ranges had used 1.7% of their monthly quota a day or so after putting the quota in place. After about a week, the percentage is now at 0.5% used. I then looked at the device...

Re: TL-WR1043ND V3

Excellent, that's essentially what I ended up doing. One gotcha that is easy to miss is that you have to switch networks from 192.168.0.66 to something on 192.168.1.X.

Re: TL-WR1043ND V3

Success! I was confused about the designated driver and gargoyle. I loaded the sysupgrade gargoyle image on top of the designated driver and it worked great.

Thanks again for all the help.

Re: TL-WR1043ND V3

Thanks for the idea. I've been using the factory images every time. What I'm seeing now is that no matter which image I use, it appears that the designated driver isn't changed. I know it's been using different images because I watch the tftp load from the server side and the file sizes match the de...

Re: TL-WR1043ND V3

Thanks. I'm getting closer. I didn't notice the IP change from 192.168.0.x to 192.168.1.1 after the reboot. At least it's not dead. At this point, 192.168.1.1 is up and I've used the tftp load of the trunk version for v3 and then the sysupgrade to chaos calmer a couple times but the console when I s...

Re: TL-WR1043ND V3

Thanks. I'd try that if the web interface was working. At this point all I can do is power it up with tftp and have it load an image. No matter what bin file I try, never comes online. I'd like to get out of this without having to solder up a serial connection.

Re: TL-WR1043ND V3

I received the same V3 router this week to install gargoyle on. I was initially having the same 18005 issues no matter what I used (dd-wrt, open-wrt, gargoyle). It even would give the same error using the latest firmware from the TP-Link site. I also was having issues trying TFTP, the router never s...
