OpenVPN Server behind Gargoyle Gateway - No connection

Post by truelies »

Hello,
i'm running currently 3 routers in my network:

wrt54gs v1.1 / 192.168.1.252 / Gateway / Gargoyle Router 1.6.1
wrt54gs v8 / 192.168.1.253 / AP / DD-WRT
wr1043nd v1.8 / 192.168.1.254 / AP / Gargoyle Router 1.6.1

I've recycled the good old wrt54gs as a gateway without wlan cause with 32MB ram and 8MB flash its suitable for that. Its running in the basement so there would be no reception at all.

The rest of the house is covered by the other ones. My intention is to run an OpenVPN server on the wr1043nd. I configured and started the OpenVPN server and set up a port-forwarding for port 1194 at the gateway to the ap.

WAN:1194 -> 192.168.1.252 -> 192.168.1.254:1194

Over 3G I can connect with my thinkpad (ip 10.8.0.2) to the OpenVPN server (ip 10.8.0.1) BUT i can't ping or connect to any system in my network :roll:

I guess i have to set up some static route stuff or so... well any help would be greatly appreciated to solve this issue :D
