I'm thinking about setting up a transparent Squid proxy right on my WNDR3700 for a very small home network with very little web traffic. I've got a 4 TB drive attached so I figured why not do the caching and proxying right on the router? I know it's not *super* powerful hardware, but I'm guessing it should be enough for the tiny bit of web traffic in a house with three people.
Any dire warnings or anything that might be of use before I give this a go?
Thanks!

I have already done that with a TL WR1043nd, but it was soooo slow. Give it a try...
