Hi all
I would like to know from users using Fonera 2100 in Wireless Bridge mode with repeater enable ,wich firmware version are you using if its stable without any problems.

I have a wifi network wich i am repeating with a fonera 2100 but it works like for two days and then i stop getting DHCP from my main router.

Please post only your firmware versions only if running in fonera 2100 without problems.

I have tried:
1.2.5-Works but not 100% stable
1.3.16-Works but not 100% stable
1.4.0-Works but not 100% stable (low mem on this 93% used )
1.0.16-Currently testing (yesterday when connected to webif the fonera rebooted :( )

You could try running something like that on your router.

I'd stick with 1.2.5 and try the script on that page.

1.3.x and 1.4.x use quite a bit more memory.

@DoesItMatter: Thanks for your hints. I am new to this stuff. Can you tell me how to add the script (https://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php ... 115#p56115) to the router from command line?

How can one ssh to the garogyle-router? Thanks!

PS: I installed v1.5 to fon2100. The connection drops after a few minutes! :-(

Please, let me know which one you use finally... I am in 1.4 and did not detect any issue, but I am using it only for short periods of time (when I want to play online with my xbox)

I have a 2201 and 1.4.7 stable. It is in wireless bridge with repeater and the uptime is 2 days 19 hours and 50 minutes. No issue since now. It is the first time I use this firmware.

Still looking some firmware stable to use my fonera as a stable wireless repeater
Foneras 2100 only have 16 MB of RAM. Even in 1.2.5 you keep receiving messages like :

Virtual device ath0 asks to queue packet!

Reading in the openwrt forums is memory related.

Wondering which services can I disable to have more ram. Luci and what else?
