Hi folks, just got back from four days on the back of a motorbike.

Thanks for the thoughts - I'll try to have a look at it again tomorrow

Code: Select all

iptables -vnL -t filter
This will at least tell us what restrictions are in force and if they are trapping any traffic at all.
How do I put the command in?

Ooooo - just realised it could be because I need to update the firmware

I'm using Gargoyle 1.3.14

Should I be going to 1.4.7 now - are there any "issues" with it?

It would certainly seem worthwhile todo. The news pages give the release and confirms on success or issues, I'm running 1.5.4 with no problems I am aware of.

One thing to be ready for, personally I haven't had a lot of success with the restore after update (menu items missing eg restrictions) if this occurs reupdate and then put in settings again, I have a list of my set ips anyway so doesn't take long but be ready with connection info just in case :)

Whether it resolves the issue is another thing but it won't hurt
