Buffalo WZR-HP-G450H

Post by sco77 »

This router has almost no information online despite the fact that it's been on the market for awhile now and you can purchase it online through retailers like Newegg.. http://www.buffalotech.com/products/wir ... -hp-g450h/

Any idea if this is supported? Or any specs on the CPU? It looks like a monster of a router and it may replace my G300nh when it is supported.

Looks like it comes with DD-WRT installed out of the box

They probably have an agreement with the DD-WRT devs.

So at some point, OpenWRT support will follow, but may take a while.

I'd guess some form of Atheros chipset used inside.

And since they already have the WZR-HP-G300NH, I am guessing that
they are not going to deviate too much from the design.

So it should have 32MB flash and probably 64MB or 128MB of ram

Looks like they just have 3 radios instead of 2 though, so 3x3 mimo
instead of 2x2 mimo (for 300mbps max)

Problem is though, you need to find the wireless adapters that
can use or attain 450mbps as well.
