Hello
I cant manage to install. ?!
Not sure whats wrong but here is what i have tested.

gargoyle_1.15.x-rockchip-armv8-friendlyarm_nanopi-r2s-squashfs-sysupgrade.img.gz

extracted this file on microsd card with etcher. no sucess starting up. no lights in leds for LAN. Do not get any IP on computer. Tried to set ip also, but no ping on 192.168.1.1

openwrt 22.03.3 installed ok with no problem..

As an experiment, try installing Openwrt from scratch then do a sysupgrade (i.e. upgrade through OpenWrt's web UI using the Gargoyle sysupgrade image) to see whether that behaves any better. NOTE: don't keep settings!

Firstly this discussion probably should be in it's own thread because it's not about x86 - mods, can this be split off into a new thread?

It's disappointing that flashing Gargoyle as a sysupgrade didn't appear to go anywhere, but that sometimes even happens with a successful flash in my experience. Did the device give any indication it might have rebooted at all? (e.g. LED flash sequence). Does the device respond to pings on the standard IP address? If after a decent wait period (perhaps at least 10-15 minutes), what happens if you forcibly refresh the browser window?

The other thing that I think would help the developers better understand what's going on is to capture the bootlog of your device booting from the Gargoyle native SD card installation as well as (for comparison) booting from an OpenWrt native SD card installation. This is usually best done with a serial console on many devices but I don't know what's possible with yours.
