web server not working

Post by atrac »

Hello
I am running Gargoyle PL 1.11.0.4 on a gl.inet mt399n-v2.
Everything was working perfectly, when I modified remote web access adding a https custom port.
Forgetting about the fact that I cannot still manage to reach the router from outside (could be a port forwarding problem of the external router), now I cannot reach the router by typing it's address in the browser inside the lan.
However, I can access it through ssh, so it's alive and connected, but it looks like the webserver is dead. What can I do? I do not know what to check next...

You should deal with it in the Polish Forum https://eko.one.pl/forum/viewforum.php?id=18 ...

Edit the /etc/config/uhttpd file and fix the ports. Default configuration:
EDIT: Sorry  , I opened the wrong router, which is based on OpenWrt. The configuration from Gargoyle points to @Lantis in the post below.

If you follow above advice, please use the Gargoyle defaults, otherwise you'll make the problem worse (those aren't even close to working )

Please be respectful when posting. I do this in my free time on a volunteer basis.

My fault! I touched the local https port, I was confusing that with the remote!

BTW, I still have problems from remote, I will open a new thread.
