Re: Versions 1.9.0 & 1.8.1
Hello everybody!
Immediately I apologize for my English.
I faced on firmware 1.9 with the idle Wi-Fi Bridge.
Use two router 1043nd v1 (192.168.1.1 OpenWRT) and 941nd v3 (192.168.1.2 Gargoyle).
941nd joins 1043nd. The connection between obrazuetsya, but 941nd I do not get IP addresses and the Internet itself. If I enter the IP address manually all as there is no Internet.
I attached screenshots. Screenshots are made from a computer that is connected by cable to the 941nd. They were made when manually entering IP addresses on the network map.
In firmware 1.8.0 everything works fine.
Settings I completely dropped.

What version are you running? 1.9.0 or 1.9.X?
If 1.9.X, which date?
There was a fix for this problem, this one should be ok:

Re: Versions 1.9.0 & 1.8.1
I seem to be having a problem with DHCP lease renewing on 1.9.0..
I have my router (TP-Link TL-WR740N v4) with Gargoyle 1.9.0 obtaining an IP from my ISP's provided modem via the "DHCP (wired)" setting. The DHCP lease is set to expire 10 minutes after it is issued. On 1.9.0 even when the IP does not change, once the lease expires, the internet will disconnect for a few seconds and then come back up. This led to the internet disconnecting every 10 minutes, so I had to revert back to 1.6.2 - and I haven't had this problem with that version so far.
I don't know the technical details of the DHCP lease renewing procedure, but it's my suspicion that Gargoyle 1.9.0 is unnecessarily renewing the IP when it has not actually changed.

Dear Friends
Does version 1.9.0 fix the problem with bandwidth, which isn't OK since 1.6.2 (the last where bandwidth was working without problems)?
Sincerely

TP-Link TL-WR1043N/ND v1, using 1.9.0 over a week - no problems, great job guys !

Re: Versions 1.9.0 & 1.8.1
Installed factory 1.9.0 on TL-WR841N v9 successfully. Shifted to client bridge repeater configuration and it would not serve addresses to clients. Installed sysupgrade 1.8.1 and it works. With my ancient 2012 Android cell phone, get the deauth/auth coincident with wpa pairwise key handshake, which is what was expected. Set option wmm '0' to address.

Hi,
I updated to 1.9.0 without preserve settings on WNDR3700v2 - all is working fine without any problems. Speed on the both wi-fi bands is OK and there is not any difference between 1.8.x. .
In my opinion, system is booting more faster than with fw 1.8.x .
thanks for your good job.

Re: Versions 1.9.0 & 1.8.1
I have a new TPLink WR841N ver 9.3 This is the first of this model that I have owned.
Gargoyle Version:1.8.1
Model:TP-Link TL-WR841N/ND v9
It does not seem very stable. The web GUI works for a while and then stops responding. The internet continues on for a while longer, but then finally fails.
I will try 1.9.0 with it next.
