TP-LINK TL-WR1043ND wan port does'nt work after flashing 1,5

TP-LINK TL-WR1043ND wan port does'nt work after flashing firmware v1.5.4
reflashed to original firmware and wan port working now.
If anybody knows what is wrong in this firmware?

WAN Led doesnot blinking.
But in original fw it is working good!!!

If it doesn't work in OpenWRT, it's not going to work in Gargoyle. However, since there seems to be many people using this router (and revisions that contain identical hardware as yours), I find it hard to believe the problem you are describing really exists since there doesn't seem to be anyone else reporting it.

Hello friends, i have solved my problem!
this problem was that original firmware disables WAN Port before boot.
This featcher was made to solve the problem with mac adresses.
i have found deutch firmware in one site wich treats this.

First u should flash to original fw.
second flash this http://ifolder.ru/29673480
then u should flash alternative fw such as Gargoyle http://ifolder.ru/29673481

And WAN port is working now))))

Yes, this issue is documented on the openwrt trac ticket system :

The newer routers come with a boot loader that disables the wan port on boot so that it doesn't "leak" during the power up time, it then gets enabled by the TP-Link firmware.

One way to "fix" this is by reverting to an older boot loader that does not disable the wan port, then re-flash gargoyle or openwrt. I don't know about the link posted in the previous post, but I can confirm the one from the openwrt trac ticket system works, I've had to use it to "fix" my own router.

Or use the newer Attitude Adjustement based systems which appear to have this issue fixed.
