Hi,
I successfully configured a client bridge with Gargoyle and since 1.3.13 the bridge runs stable.
The only issue I still have is that not all services are forwarded. I can't access the DMR function of the connected Mediaplayer for example.
The web GUI doesn't allow to disable the firewall. Is there any other possibility to disable it? I'm not sure this is the root cause, but I wanted to give this a try...
Thanks !

Re: How to disable the firewall
You must have putty runs using this command
/etc/init.d/firewall stop
if wanted remove /etc/rc.d/firewall or /etc/init.d/firewall disable
/etc/init.d/firewall stop
if wanted remove /etc/rc.d/firewall or /etc/init.d/firewall disable
Re: How to disable the firewall
What is the best firewall you used for windows xp? I have been testing several versions of firewall, bitdefender, kaspersky, kerio, sunbelt, and some more. For now, I find that Bitdefender wins the gold medal, in my opinion. But still the antivirus within Bitdefender is not that powerful. I installed Avast 4 and tried to use only the firewall in bitdefender (disabling the antivirus of bitdefender) but conflicts happen between the two softwares when loading windows. Do you people, know the best firewall please?

I've used the built in Windows XP firewall for a long time.
Have never had issues with it, but its one failure point is that it
does not block a lot of out-bound traffic.
In-bound blocking - its very good, out-bound - not so much.

You can try Tiny Personal Firewall 2.0.15A for Windows XP
Will NOT work on Vista/Win 7 though. Free and highly configurable.
