Important!!! firmware 1.8.0 router does not save changes!
I have router TP-link Wr tl 1042nd v1 with firmware 1.8.0. I was able set up connection and make some changes into firewall. After refreshing plugins and install Adblock and Tor I was not able to do any changes in my router. After spending 2-3 hours with downgrading, upgrading I still can not figure out what is the problem and how to fix it.

I have a similar setup and I have seen this type of behaviour on occasion.

- Be sure to only have one browser tab/window open to edit the Gargoyle config.
- Somtimes the Gargoyle session times-out but the browser shows cached info. Go back to the Gargoyle status page and relogin if necessary
- If the problem persists, perhaps it was a corrupt download or flash. Backup your config; re-download the Gargoyle image; reflash the router; restore the config
Can you help someone else get Gargoyle up and running?

Thank you for answer but, I think, I found the cause of the problem. It apparently was plugin "Tor Anonymizer Support for Gargoyle", I did not download this plugin and all changes can be made even with other plugins installed such as "logread for Gargoyle" "DNS Adblocking support for Gargoyle".

Is this the same DNS problem I was having with 1.9.x?
Re: Important!!! firmware 1.8.0 router does not save changes
I am certainly running the TOR plugin successfully without the issues that you describe. So the problems may bear some relation to the TOR plugin, but the link is not direct or clear.
I have also seen troublesome behaviour when I have reflashed a Gargoyle image onto a router with a USB containing plugins from a prior install.
