Well, it was building overnight and i think it worked.
I see no error messages on the CLI and now i can find gargoyle/images/ramips with a few images inside.
I can't find nothing related to 330N3G, though. I think it's expected.
Thank you all so far, but now please: what is the next step?

if you didn't add the 330ng to the build profile list then it will probably be under /ramips-src/bin/ramips

the images will have the openwrt name infront of them but they should have gargoyle content.

My guess is the image ended up too large and wasn't produced.

A good learning experience anyway.

This goddam rabbit hole just brought pain and misery. And a wee bit of knowledge. And a warm study room in the morning after an allnight build.
I see Gargoyle builds for 4Mb devices, like the MR3020. Can't the same approach be made for the 330N3G?

edit:
NVM, i saw your thread about requests. Apparentely 4 megs is too low.
Thank you all for your time!

Unfortunately the reality is they are too small.
If they work, they don't work well.

There's nothing stopping you pulling a bunch of plugins and packages out to try again :)
I'd recommend a "make custom" to do that to get the dependencies right.

We can support you down that path if you like.

Yes, i don't doubt you can help. In fact, both of you moderators have been very helpful.
Unfortunately i must face the facts: flash is too small. If i take out enough to fit, it will either be not Gargoyle, or vanilla OpenWRT will have more options in the same space.
Thank you all, really. Although i don't post much, i have been lurking for quite a while and this community is much more friendly than, for example, DD-WRT's or even Linux in general.
