Asus compatibility

Post by John14Six »

My router is an Asus RT-N66U and I badly need the whitelisting function of Gargoyle... but I don't see any download that sounds directly compatible.

Is there an architecture/firmware/version that's universally functional--or am I in that-will-brick-for-sure territory?

Thanks for your time,

Sorry mate the wifi driver for the n66 is shit. The devs over at openwrt tryed to get this box to work and gave up after 3 years. For more info see here:
https://dev.openwrt.org/ticket/10852

Your best bet wood be to get a router from the shop from the link abuv, or from ebay such as the wdr3600, wdr4300 ,wd-n750 or the tp-link c7 v2
Linksys WRT3200ACM
NETGEAR Nighthawk R7800
NETGEAR R6260
