I restored the settings backup after upgrading to 1.0.16
I've just to observe that tcp/ip settings established conntracks, udp, etc are not restored back but remain the defaults: 600, 180 etc
ps: isn't tcp's established conntracks 600sec a little too brief ?
the default kernel setting is 5 days (432000sec) but I reasonably think that 3600 (1 hour) should be more adequate: keeping conntracks too short can cause syn overhead in certain conditions

Re: Version 1.1.7 & 1.0.16
Really depends on what kind of traffic is going through.
Those connection limits are more for people doing a lot of torrents.
You usually want the connections to close when idle to minimize
the total # of open connections, which will allow for less overhead
on the router.
I think its not too critical if you have a router with 32mb ram.
If you have a router with 16mb ram, you may want lower values.
