Try it out - I don't have a DIR-825 to test onkuklux1921 wrote:this include fix led in dir 825 c1?
As long as you are running Gargoyle 1.6.0 or 1.6.1
you should be able to upgrade to this version and keep your settings

Does it contains any bugfixes for wr-1043ND v1.8 wi-fi connect timeout?
Or any changes on wi-fi interface at all?

Second that, wifi is fubar. Just want to highlight to some of the newer people on the forum just in case, this is not Gargoyle's problem but an OpenWrt problem. The Gargoyle interface is terrific and Eric and the boys who are working on it are A+ in my book.
OpenWrt has had this problem for a while now, at least 9 months..God knows what is causing it and he ain't telling. I'm temped to go back to 1.5.6 or 1.5.8 as from memory that was working really well. I then upgraded to 1.5.9 and the troubles started. It is also not a hardware problem because if I install stock, then the problem goes away and my tp-link 4300 runs fine, albeit with a completely awful interface!
We have a long weekend in Oz, and it's been raining, so I'll be spending it trying to resurrect the router. If I find "the answer", then I will let everyone know. However, I suspect I will not be using 1.6.1 or any of the variants in the end as I don't believe playing around with settings is going to cause a real bug in OpenWRT to disappear.
