wlan0-1: received packet with own address as source address

Post by uysiquebien »

I have a wireless bridge on a TL-WR741ND v2.4 and from time to time dmesg is spammed with

Code: Select all

wlan0-1: received packet with own address as source address
wlan0-1: received packet with own address as source address
wlan0-1: received packet with own address as source address
wlan0-1: received packet with own address as source address
wlan0-1: received packet with own address as source address
wlan0-1: received packet with own address as source address
wlan0-1: received packet with own address as source address
And what's worse, "Tx excessive retries" in iwconfig starts to rise, and I lose all connectivity. To fix it I just use "# wifi".

I tried enabling STP on the bridge but it didn't do anything.

I'm using Gargoyle 1.4.7 because newer versions have this problem and the workaround does not work for me.
