Even if you assign an IP it can be over-ridden by the client. To prevent this, tick the box in DHCP labeled "Block MAC addresses assigned a static IP that connect from a different IP"

Re: Rouge IP address
If nobody is plugged in, must be over wireless (maybe an iphone or similar device?). If you want to prevent this it's good practice to lock down the whole network (not just DHCP range!) with a small, or even zero quota, then add fixed quotas for known devices only.

Re: 1.3.2 randomly reboots
After 4 days uptime with no problems I switched web monitoring back on, no other changes. Within a few hours it rebooted again. I've turned web monitoring off again, as the family is getting a little annoyed

Re: 1.3.2 randomly reboots
I have QOS on, but web monitoring still off. Uptime is now 3 days. If it's still going ok tomorrow i will switch web monitoring back on and see what happens. Also I initially had configuration loaded from 1.2 but when the rebooting started I reflashed and reconfigured from scratch, but that didn't f...

1.3.2 randomly reboots
Hi all, I've noticed my router randomly rebooting, up to several times per day. This has only happened since upgrading to 1.3.2. It's possibly related to web monitoring, as it hasn't happened in the last 2 days since I disabled that. I had web monitoring set to 100 sites and 100 search queries, and ...

Re: new search web query
Thanks for the info and fixes Eric. I can now enter multiple IP's to exclude and it works fine, also the search logging seems clear of the multiple entries. One problem that I've just noticed, so don't know if it's new or was already there, is the Clear History button doesn't work. I've tried it sev...

Re: new search web query
I've noticed perhaps another bug with the "Recent Web Searches" log. Sometimes when a long search query is entered, it shows up in the log many times over a few seconds, each one with an extra letter added in the middle. So it starts off with say the first 2 & last 2 words mashed toget...

Re: Kamikaze restore to Backfire
I have restored my config from 1.2.4 onto 1.3.1, haven't noticed any problems yet except what seems to be a bug in web monitoring excluding multiple IPs (mentioned in another thread).

Re: new search web query
also it seems like excluding IP from search query can only exclude one IP only. When I put the second IP in, it doesn;t save. Yes I noticed this too, actually the additional IPs are being saved (and therefore not monitored), but only the first is displayed. I agree with your suggestion too if it's ...
