I think just the regular wrt54g image is correct but I’m not sure. Caveat emptor.
I would not do client + AP if you can. Just client + Ethernet.

Re: wrt54g v2
I would not recommend anything newer than Gargoyle 1.6. That being said, I would not recommend putting such a device and old firmware into use. There are many exploitable vulnerabilities. If it is to be used as a hobby/project, sure. But please do not deploy this into production. There are so many c...

You can dump your configs and send them to me if you like and see if I spot anything interesting. I assume the functionality itself works? Just the GUI problem? Hi Lantis, Just a GUI problem and functionality itself works. Please find backup configs. Thanks. https://mega.nz/file/KVIHmSJI#MPkEE53CyH...

Re: Clone mac adres doesn't save on 1.14
Likely due to the network config changes. Did you do a clean install or try to keep settings?
There is some code to try and figure out if you have a wan_dev or not.
I agree it would be better to test on 1.15 if willing. Otherwise let’s look at your network config.

That’s interesting. I’ve not seen that before but it kind of makes sense.
Please report back on how it goes.

Re: Poor WAN performance on Netgear R6700v2
What speed is your WAN connection? While your device is a little slow, it should not be causing terrible slowdowns. I would suggest you do not need QoS enabled, simply use Quotas with speed tiers. This should improve performance. If you have "Enforce DHCP Assignments" on, try disabling tha...

No, there is a 3200 specific image.
Technically you can use it but you need to do modifications to the device first. It is not recommended.

Re: Search for webmon
I've implemented this under https://github.com/ericpaulbishop/gargoyle/commit/71dfcf9c866ba30f5ca7f26eaa128d444698bd10 It is your code with minor modifications. I added a 1 second debounce to the interface. It's (in my opinion) the best length tradeoff for responsive UI vs not firing the function on...

Re: Broken opkg/gpkg --tmp-dir option
A little beyond my pay grade to be honest, but at least the OpenWrt devs seem to understand and be responding. Do you know exactly which kernel version implemented this change? I was going to bring Gargoyle up to 23.05.4, but with the wifi issue being reported I'm now waiting. Hopefully we can pick ...

Re: Huawei E970
If you are willing to compile your own version of Gargoyle to try, sure.
You can’t use any version newer than 1.13.x
However, please read all of the warnings at the top of your device page and think carefully about whether you want to bother.
