Re: the annoying 'too many redirects'
I've never encountered this error on my Mac (Safari, Opera, or Firefox) or Safari on iPhone. My router is running 1.6.1.

ACC Link Limit Loop
I've been keeping an eye on how ACC works, and over the past few weeks noticed the following. Background info: I have my download QoS on with just one category and let IP sharing take care of equally splitting bandwidth between devices. I have a 5/1 plan, but I usually get around 5.7 Mbps download. ...

Re: QoS Feedback
Just providing feedback based on my trial and error from above! I didn't know Gargoyle provided equal sharing of data by IP. Had I known this, the above would have been different. Anywho, I've been so happy with Gargoyle that I bought an identical router and installed Gargoyle on it as well. It's no...

Username & Password for OpenVPN
I use a VPN provider that offers OpenVPN access. They have instructions for Tomato and DD-WRT routers (links below) but I can't seem to figure out how to apply a username and password with the OpenVPN plugin on Gargoyle. Is this possible? https://support.cyberghostvpn.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Ar...

HI everyone. I'm seeking feedback on my QoS settings... just because I'm somewhat new to Gargoyle and am planning to send this router off to family in Mexico. I'm testing it on my 6/1mbps connection. Their connection is a wireless ISP that varies massively by time of day and days of the week. Downlo...

Re: Successfully flashed a router? Tell Us!
I flashed Gargoyle 1.6.1 on a Linksys WRT400N two days ago. Has been running rock solid since then, along with QoS with ACC. I used the WRT400N file in the download section. It's a great used router to consider if you don't want to worry about different versions/revisions. Dual band 2.4GHz/5GHz with...

Re: Difficulty buying a router. No really...
I know this is a bump of an old thread, but hopefully it will help someone. If you don't mind buying used, consider the Cisco / Linksys WRT400N . As far as I can tell, there's only one version of it. It's a 2.4GHz/5GHz dual band router with 8MB flash and Atheros AR7161 680MHz CPU. Converting it to G...
