Actually, if you look at the web access log you get the page requested, even if it was denied by the restrictions. Atleast, it worked that way until the log hit 300, then it crapped out and showed nothing. Still trying to get it cleaned out.

OK, did the upgrade. Upgrading through the web interface didn't go so well. I'm not sure if it hung, or if its just the odd way this router goes.
