Hahaha. I guess the feeling is mutual. Procrastination seems to be my middle name too.

Re: Version 1.1.0 (Experimental)

Sounds interesting. I'll take a look at the todo list over the weekend. Hopefully I can get a thing or two done.

I'm doing a PhD in IT at the moment. It's in the area of network intrusion detection. Sounds fancier than it actually is. Hehe. Are you doing one too?

Thanks!

Re: Version 1.1.0 (Experimental)

Thanks for the info. I'll go through the directory listing when I get the chance. I definitely would like to help out but I'm more of the hobbyist programmer and only code when I'm in the mood. I'm actually a novice and no where in the same league as you (Gargoyle is an excellent system). As it is, ...

Re: Version 1.1.0 (Experimental)

Dear Eric,

If I wanted to muck around with the codes, which one should I work with? The stable version (1.0.14) or experimental (1.1.0)?

Thanks.

Re: Version 1.0.13

Dear BikeMike, I distinctly remember testing for bandwidth usage and it worked fine on my machine. Anyway, I'll take a look at the latest source again when I have the time. Could you please attach a screenshot of the web usage portion and briefly describe it. I remember taking a look at it but someh...

Re: Suggestion: Date formats

Hi, I have amended the codes as per your suggestion. You'll find the diff files and src files as attached. The src files can just be renamed and copied into the correct directories in the router. The diff files is with reference to version 1.0.12 of the router image. You'll notice an additional logi...

Re: disabling QOS

Hi, From what I understand, are referring to traffic shaping (not quota) for peak/off-peak periods? From my experimentations, there's no direct way of achieving that through the web interface. From the web interface, you can: 1) Turn on traffic shaping all the time for all IPs 2) Turn off traffic sh...

Re: disabling QOS

Hi, Enabling the QoS through the web interface (ticking Enable QoS) works. However, disabling it through the web interface (unticking Enable QoS) doesn't quite work unless I follow it up with router reboot. On a separate note, if I wanted to enable/disable QoS on a schedule, would it be sufficient t...
