Hi All.
Is there any update on support for the E3000?
I've been using TomatoUSBv54 for some time now without any issues. I just miss Gargoyle and the per-client bandwidth usage goodness.
Thanks

Re: Does Linksys E3000 Dual-Band Wireless Router work?
I was looking at upgrading to this router from my WRT54GL.
Has anyone tested Gargoyle on it?
Routers that support Gargoyle are not easy to find in Australia.

Host Name - Where?
Hi all. When you look at active hosts, there is no attached host name. Is it possible for this to be implemented? When there's a new client on my network it's difficult to assign them a static IP and quota without asking them what IP they're using (normally I want to do this without them knowing). c...

Request - DSL Modem Access
Hi all. It's already been discussed here and a solution presented by pbix - the only downside is that upon a FW upgrade you have to manually implement this each time. Not a big deal, just thought it might make things easier :) MODEM_IP="10.x.x.1" VLAN_IP="10.x.x.2" ifconfig eth0....

4MB vs 8MB Flash - Benefits?
Hi. I've got a WRT54GL - I had recommended to others that they go down the WRT router path but I had a few questions regarding what hardware was best. In the DD-WRT case it's clear that you can't use the mega build without 8MB of ram. I prefer the features Gargoyle has and was wondering if there's a...

Re: Accessing DSL modem
Yes, you just edit the file via putty, save it, reboot the router and you're good to go.BikeMike wrote:I would like to do this. How do I edit the file? I can connect with SSH (using putty) but what then? Or is there an easier way?

Re: Accessing DSL modem
pbix - so what exactly did you put in that file? My router IP is 192.168.1.1 - and my modem is 10.1.1.1 - what should I put in that file? Thank you. EDIT: Never mind - I forgot to reboot the router ;) MODEM_IP="10.1.1.1" VLAN_IP="10.1.1.2" ifconfig eth0.1 $VLAN_IP netmask 255.255...

Daylight Savings
Hi. It's currently AEDT in Australia so I had to change the time zone manually to +11 (Solomon Islands) - is there plans to implement automated daylight savings changes?

Bandwidth Usage - Change Times?
Hi. I'm wondering if someone might be able to help me with what I'm trying to do. Basically, I have 60GB a month quota from my ISP, and unlimited quota between the hours of 2am and 8am (off-peak). What I'm trying to do is keep track of how much bandwidth is used each day peak, and off peak. ie. want...

Re: Need n00b help!
Thank you for the replies. Eric - your suggestion worked. I set my router IP to 192.168.1.1, and my modem IP to 10.1.1.1 which gave the Router a WAN IP of 10.1.1.2. I was able to access the modem page without a problem. However, port forwarding does not work. Maniac - I've set the modem to bridge mo...
