Re: xbox 360 not connecting wirelessly
pmerrill, setting the port forwarding manually does not make a difference. Mine are manually setup and I can only connect through Ethernet. Wrong port forwarding would not give a connection error but rather a message about the quality of your Internet connection later on (see http://support.xbox.com...

Restoring settings on same hardware crashes Gargoyle?
Hi, I had just installed Gargoyle 1.5.9 on a WDR3600 when I wanted to install it on a different WDR3600. The hardware was identical, with of course different serial numbers but same version etc. I backed settings up on my Gargoyle router. Then I uploaded Gargoyle 1.5.9 on the other router, rebooted,...

Re: xbox 360 not connecting wirelessly
Add me to the list of people with that issue. I just installed 1.5.9 today. This is my first Gargoyle installation. The Xbox 360 won't connect wirelessly :-( If one looks at the Connected Hosts page, one will briefly see an entry with the Xbox 360 MAC address, and "unknown" for the IP addr...

Gargoyle reports active connections for a device that is off
In /hosts.sh I can still see my phone with active connections (3 of them) reported not only after I turn its Wifi off, but even when the whole phone is off. The information is still there after a few minutes. It eventually goes down to 2, and maybe they will all subside eventually. My phone is defin...

OpenVPN client?
Hi, Is anyone using the OpenVPN client on Gargoyle? How well does it work? I would like to setup my router so that every connection is encrypted, and that if the OpenVPN tunnel cannot be established there is NO traffic allowed. (As a bonus, it would be good to be able to allow some incoming connecti...

Re: Firewall settings not saved
Did you resolve your issue? I just ordered a WDR3600 and am looking to see which issues I may run into with Gargoyle.
Also, have you ran it into simultaneous dual band, 2.4 Ghz and 5 GHz?

Recommendations for a router?
Hi, I am looking for a good router that will run Gargoyle. My main requirements are: - Gigagbit Ethernet - If possible, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands The dual band is where I am stuck right now. My current network is made of a Time Capsule and a recent Airport Express, and I use the 5 GHz for both. I've h...
